Easy to make Lunch Box Recipe

Carrying food in lunch boxes is a very common sight seen in India. From school going children to elders everyone carry lunch boxes ; the point is to make the lunch box easy to prepare and tasty in consumption. Here is one such simple and tasty recipe preferred by children to elders.

Rice is the staple food in southern most India. Almost everybody carry rice to work places, so to make it easy to eat and delicious to taste note down the below steps of preparation.

Step1: Take basmati rice wash and soak it for 20 minutes before cooking.

Step 2: Boil water add some salt and little oil, add the rice to the water and let it cook.

Step 3: Drain the excess water after rice is cooked and keep it aside.

Step 4: Chop vegetables like cabbage, beans, spring onions, carrot, onions, capsicum, green chillies to small pieces. ( not necessary you have all veggies) Add green peas, corn, etc if interested.

Step 5: Take a pan heat up 2 tea spoons of oil and break two eggs put some salt and pepper scramble the mix and keep it aside.

Step 6: Now Add 2 table spoons of oil and add chopped garlic sauté and now add all the chopped veggies one after the other cook for 2 to 3 minutes.

Step 7: Add the cooked rice to the pan and mix by adding some salt, azinomoto, soya sauce toss is slowly so that the rice doesn’t break. Now add the egg scramble give it a nice toss, sprinkle some spring onions and switch off the stove.

Step 8: Veg & Egg fried rice is piping hot to serve and eat

Step 9: Transfer the food to the lunch boxes J
